Tax Policy
PETCO is required by law to charge applicable tax on all online orders shipped to states in which PETCO has a physical location.
We ship from multiple warehouses across the United States so you get your order as quickly as possible. Your order will be sent from the nearest warehouse that has your items in stock. In the event your order can't be filled by a single warehouse, your order may arrive in multiple shipments. As your items ship, we will send you an email detailing the shipment along with tracking numbers to track your packages during transit. The carriers we use are FedEx Home, UPS and the United States Postal Service. The carrier we choose depends upon your destination and the items in your order and we are unable to offer you the ability to choose the carrier by which your order will be shipped. FedEx Home deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. USPS delivers Monday through Saturday. Due to carrier restrictions, some rural addresses are delivered in 4 - 10 business days. We currently do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, international locations or U.S. Territories. Some items may limit the shipping methods available due to being oversized/overweight or shipping directly from the product manufacturer. Please Note: Items with longer shipping times will be noted under "Availability" on the product page. These items ship directly from the manufacturer. You may receive separate shipments of your order if this occurs. Please allow an additional 14-21 days for delivery of items shipping directly from a manufacturer. Surcharges Some items may have an additional surcharge fee based on size, weight, shipping directly from the product manufacturer, etc. This surcharge will appear on the product detail page. These surcharges cover our extra cost for shipping these items.
We want to make sure you and your pet are completely satisfied with every purchase. So our return policy is simple. Please ship the item(s) and your packing slip, stating the reason for the return, to your nearest PETCO warehouse at one of the following addresses. A pre-printed label with the address of your nearest warehouse is included for your convenience. If you do not have this label, please mail to one of these locations: Mira Loma, CA Returns 4345 Parkhurst Street Mira Loma, CA 91752 Braselton, GA Returns 930 Hwy 124 Braselton, GA 30517 • For your protection, we encourage you to send your return via carriers who offer package tracking such as FedEx or UPS (be sure to retain your tracking receipt for future reference). • If your return is the result of an incorrect shipment by PETCO, or a damaged or defective product, we will refund merchandise and shipping charges to your credit card. We will reimburse shipping charges incurred to return incorrect, damaged, or defective merchandise to PETCO, not to exceed the published FedEx Ground rate for the weight of the package. • If returning merchandise for any other reason, you are required to pay all shipping charges to and from PETCO. • Merchandise cannot be returned to a PETCO store.
